1. What is The Filipino Homepage website for?

The Filipino Homepage website is one of the pixel advertising sites, or some call it micro-advertising. Originally started last August of 2005 by Alex Tew, a 21 year old University Student from the UK, pixel advertising emerge a very good concept for advertising website images and links in a single homepage.
Alex Tew built a website called The Million Dollar Homepage in which he sold pixel ad space pixel by pixel. Mr. Tew's pixel ad space consisted of 1,000x1,000 pixels (or a total of 1 Million Pixels) priced at $1 a pixel. In the span of about 5 months, The Million Dollar Homepage pixels was sold out, of which the final 1,000 pixel left was auctioned at eBay last January 1, 2006. 2. Are you also selling pixels like Alex Tew's? How much?

Yes, we are also selling pixels that occupy space in this website. This site is very similar to the Million Dollar Homepage but we are only charging as low as $0.01 a pixel for five (5) year publication in our homepage. Altenatively, we also offer Free Pixel ad space for 30 days.
3. Is there a minimum or maximum number of pixels to buy from your site?

Yes, our pixels are sold by square block containing 100 pixels (10X10 pixels). Each advertisers have to purchase at least 900 pixels (or equivalent to 9x9 blocks of pixels) or upto a maximum of 50,000 pixels (500 blocks).
4. Is there an expiry for my pixel ads?

Paid pixel ads will expire after five (5) years. Free pixel will automatically expire after 30 days, but you can renew or select another pixel ads after expiration.

Just click 'Get Pixels' link, read some details and follow the online registration. Be sure to click the validation link that we sent to your email immediately after registering to be able to login. We need to confirm that you give us the correct email address, otherwise your account will be deleted. Once you're logged in, click on the dopdown arrow and choose 'Free Pixels - 30 day free' then choose your pixels (maximum of 2700 pixels or equivalent to 9x3 blocks of pixels only).
13. Does my free pixels expire? How many pixels can I use for FREE?

Yes, FREE use of our pixels is good only for 30 days. To avail of FREE PIXELS for 30 days, you are only allowed a minimum of one (1) block (or 100 pixels) and up to a maximum of 27 blocks (or 2700 pixels). Any orders more than the maximum will be rejected and deleted.
14. What is the actual image size of your maximum Free Pixels?

The maximum free pixels that we can allow consists of 27 blocks (or 2,700 pixels). This block has a width of 90 pixels and a height of 30 pixels. If your image has a diferrent size or shape than the maximum free pixels, you may reduce it to any size or shape similar or smaller than the shaded pixels shown in the figure below. To reduce your pixel, please see faq # 16 below.
15. My logo, image or photo is much bigger than your allowed 27 blocks (or 2700 pixels), can I request additional pixels?

No. Free pixels is strictly limited up to 27 blocks (or 2700 pixels) maximum per advertiser or website. You should reduce your image size if you want to avail of our free services. However, should you want a bigger image, more than our allowed maximum free pixels, you should buy pixel ad space instead. In this way you have the free will to choose any grid and image sizes you want.
16. I want to resize my image but I don't have tools for this, what should I do?

Do not panic. There are plenty of online image resizing websites that you can use for free. Try to do a search here or use any other search engines. One such site that offers free image resizing is picresize.com. You may also go to our Get Pixel page to read more about image resizing and to see some actual size samples of rectangular and square images.
Uploading Images
17. I have already created a new account and paid the pixels but I didn't see any Red blocks to click in my back office to upload the image?

After you have completed the payment, our administrator will verify and confirm your payment. Once confirmed, you will be notified via email and you may login back to your account and upload your image and link by clicking "Manage My Pixels" menu. The approved pixel blocks will appear in Red color. If you still have problems, please email us immediately indicating the details of your payment, such as scanned copy of the bank deposit slips, or transaction numbers (if paid via egold or other payment processor available in our site).
18. I have uploaded my image, why can't I see it in the homepage?

Sometimes, we have to process your pixel ads (image) to ensure the quality of the picture. Be sure to read our Terms and Conditions regarding images/links submission as we do not allow obscene/offensive/adult images/links to be published in our grids. Normally, approved images/links are published automatically after you have uploaded it. In case, you encounter any problem just contact us for assistance.
19. What picture format do you support? Is animated images allowed?
